Lola Mae Wisely, 92 of Murphysboro,

died at 9:28 am Monday, January 9, 2006 at the Rehab & Care Center of Jackson County in Murphysboro. Lola was born November 12, 1913 in Union County, IL. the daughter of the late Dennis and Ora (Pierce) White. She married Milo A. Wisely in Murphysboro October 30, 1931; Milo preceded her in death on January 6, 1972. Services will be at 10 am Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at the Elm Street Baptist Church in Murphysboro, Pastor Charles Allen of the Elm St. Baptist Church will officiate; burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park in Murphysboro. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday at Crawshaw Funeral Home and from 9 am to the hour of services on Wednesday at the Elm Street Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the Elm Street Baptist Church and will be accepted at the church or the funeral home. Lola was baptized and became a member of the Elm Street Baptist Church, July 6, 1941 and she was a retired cook at Lincoln School in Murphysboro. Survivors include, one daughter and son in law; Barbara and Russ Hill of Sikeston, MO, one son and daughter in law Milo Jr. and Betty Wisely of Phoenix, AZ., two brothers, Herman and Ralph White both of Murphysboro, five grand children, Richard Wisely, Sue Dubien, Raymond Wisely, Andrew Hill, and Tracy Coppage, seven great grand and four great great-grand children. In addition to her parents and husband three brothers; Lowell, John and Ernest White preceded her in death.
