Marjorie Ann Wischmeyer,
79, of Jacob died at 10:20 a.m. Sunday, October 1, 2006, in Cape
Girardeau, MO. She was born September 19, 1927 in Boonville, MO. a
daughter of the late Henry and Ida Dierking Willbrand. She married Vernon
E. Wischmeyer in St. Louis MO. on June 26, 1948 he survives of Jacob.
Marjorie was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Jacob and was a retired
Seamstress for Zwick's Bridals for many years. Funeral services will be at
11 am Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at Christ Lutheran Church the Rev. Mike
Kettner will officiate; burial will follow at Christ Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at Crawshaw Funeral Home in
Murphysboro and on Wednesday from 9 to 11 am at the church. Memorials are
encouraged and may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church and will be
accepted at the funeral home or the church. Survivors in addition to her
husband Vernon include one daughter and son in law; Cathy and Wayne
Twenhafel of Jacob, one son in law and his wife; Glenn and Mary Jo
Twenhafel of Gorham, one sister and brother in law; Mary and Jim Storll of
St. Louis, MO. Three grandchildren Mark (Deana) Twenhafel of Gorham,
Michael (Angie) Twenhafel, of New Baden, Il., and Christy Meyer of Jacob.
Three great grandchildren, Blake Twenhafel, and Cody and Connor Twenhafel.
Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she
was preceded in death by one daughter; Sharon Twenhafel on November 27,
1995, one sister and one brother.
