Marguerite Weathers, 84 of Murphysboro
died at 2:10 pm Saturday, March 18, 2006 in Murphysboro. Marguerite was
born July 14, 1921 a daughter of the late Herbert Earl and June (Campbell)
Walker. She married Robert L. Weathers in San Francisco, CA on November 4,
1941; Robert proceeded her in death July 7, 1981 Funeral services will be
at 11 am on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at Crawshaw Funeral Home in
Murphysboro, Pastor Ralph Brandon of the Christian Covenant Fellowship in
Carterville, IL. will officiate, burial will follow at Pleasant Grove
Memorial Park near Murphysboro. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm on
Monday at Crawshaw Funeral Home. Marguerite was a member of the First
Christian Church in Murphysboro and had taught the Dorcas Sunday school
class for many years at First Christian Church, she had been the Welcome
Wagon Hostess in Murphysboro in the 1960's and was a homemaker, she was a
loving mother, grand, great grand, and great great grandmother. Memorials
may be made to the First Christian Church and will be accepted at the
funeral home. Survivors include two daughters and son in laws; Trish and
Albert Boudet of Murphysboro and Joyce and Greg Lewis of Carbondale, five
grand children; Cindy (Todd) Armstrong, Tommie (Penny) Cardwell IV, Corrie
(Mitch) Burdick, Bobby (Angela) Boudet and Emily Boudet, five Great Grand
Children; Tommie (Courtney) Cardwell V, Tabitha Knupp, Addison Armstrong,
Kelsey Hottes and Colby Jacob Boudet, one great great grand son; Henry
Tommie Cardwell VI, Several nieces and nephews including Gene Ebersohl
whom she helped raise. In addition to her parents and husband two brothers
and two sisters preceded her in death.
