Rodney J. Walls, 60 of Murphysboro, died at
8:09am Sunday, May 16, 2010 in Murphysboro. Rodney was born January 3,
1950 in Bluefield, WV., a son to the late Quentin and Hazel Mariam (Myers)Walls.
He was united marriage to Peggy Mandl November 19, 1969 in Chicago, IL.,
Peggy survives of Murphysboro. Mr. Walls was a self employed artist.
Services are in the care of Crawshaw Funeral Home. Cremation services have
been accorded, a Memorial service will be held at a later date in
Bluefield, WV. Memorials may be made to the Southern Illinois University
Museum in Carbondale and will be accepted at the funeral home. Survivors
include his wife; Peggy Walls of Murphysboro, three sons and two
daughters-in-law; Jeff Walls and Tim and Erin Walls of Round Lake Beach,
IL., and Chris and Lyndsey Walls of Murphysboro, one sister; Glenna Keegan
of Naperville, IL., three sisters-in-law; Lee Vangel of Murphysboro, Carol
Jura of Lincoln, CA., and Nancy Niesel of Sanibel, FL. |
