Mr. William J. Struck 91 yrs of Murphysboro, Illinois
 died 6:15 P.M. Saturday June 18th at his home after an extended illness. Mr. Struck was born in Liberal, Kansas the son of the late William Struck and Edna (Will) Struck. He married Goldia E. (Wayman) Struck On September 10, 1939. She preceded him in death on December 20, 2000. Mr. Struck was a member of the First Baptist Church Murphysboro, American Legion Post 127, V.F.W. Post 7190, Murphysboro Elks 572, and the Jackson County Farm Bureau. He served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps in the Pacific as a Staff Sergeant. He retired as Manager for Jackson County Farm Bureau and also as an active Farmer. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday June 22nd at the Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro with Rev. Jeff Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and until the hour of services Wednesday at the Crawshaw Funeral Home. Burial, with military rites conducted by American Legion Post 127, V.F.W. Post 7190 and Post 2605 and Jackson County Disabled American Veterans Chapter 69 will be held at Pleasant Grove Park Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include, Son & Spouse, William E. and Kathy Struck of Glendale, Arizona, Son and Spouse, Earl and Sherry Struck of Springfield, Illinois. Grand Children, Mike and his wife Donna Lee of Lavonia, Georgia,Amy and her husband Mark Kluemke of Sherman, Illinois, Scott Struck of Glendale, Arizona, William J. Struck of Charlotte, North Carolina and Brad Winn of Godfrey, Illinois, and 7 Great Grand Children. Sister and Brother in law, Mary and John McDowell of Mt. Olive, Illinois, Sister in laws, Doris Struck of Ava, Illinois and Ollimay Wayman of Marietta, Georgia, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Two Brothers, Mr. Howard "Jiggs" Struck and Mr. Merle Struck and One Sister, Kathryn Herring preceded him in death. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
