Teresa Joann Steffens, 75 of Granite City died
Monday, December 8, 2008 in
Granite City. Teresa was born May 8, 1933 in
Sand Ridge, IL. a daughter to the late Owen J.
Lunsford Sr. and Alma Lucille (Garris)
Lunsford. She Married Ferd H. Steffens on March
28, 1953 in Chester, IL. Ferd survives of Granite
City. Services were held at Crawshaw Funeral Home
in Murphysboro on Thursday, December 11, 2008;
burial was at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park near Murphysboro.
Survivors in addition to her husband Ferd include
three sons; Timothy and Randy Steffens of Granite
City and Danny Steffens of New Jersey, one
daughter; Anna Steffens of Granite City, IL., two
brothers and sister-in-laws; Owen Jr. and Patsy
Lunsford of Jefferson City, MO., Harold O. and
Doris Lunsford of Campbell Hill, IL. and one
sister; Judy K. Shapiro of Florida. In addition
to her parents she was preceded in death by one son; Denny Steffens.
