Rosanna Francis Simmons Weber, 87 of
Murphysboro died at 1:00 am Friday, May 15, 2009 with her 2 daughters by
her side. She was born October 2, 1921 in McComb, MS. a daughter to the
late Thomas M. and Nora (Bloxom) Simmons. She married W. H. Weber in
Norfolk, VA. February 18, 1943, W.H. preceded her in death August 27,
1976. Mrs. Weber was a member of St. Andrew Catholic in Murphysboro and
was a homemaker. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, May 16,
2009 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Father Leo Hayes will officiate.
Burial will be at St. Andrew Cemetery in Murphysboro. Memorials are
encouraged and may be made to the St. Andrew Catholic Church. Survivors
include two daughters and son's-in-law; Nora Lee "Noni" and Steve Baril
and Claire and Steve Porter of Murphysboro, seven grandchildren; Aaron
Baril, Justin (Brooke) Baril, of Murphysboro, Matthew and Weber Tamke of
Oxford, MS, and Abbey and Evan Porter of Murphysboro, 3 great
grandchildren; Devan, Megan, and Madison Baril. Mrs. Weber is also
survived by two sisters-in-law; Mrs. J.H. Rosher and Mrs. Charles Weber
both of McComb, MS. and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her
parents and husband she was also preceded in death by one sister; Mary
Claire Barrett and one brother, J.D. Simmons. |
