Lucille Siefert, 98 of Murphysboro,
died at 9:35 pm, Thursday, May 11, 2006 in Murphysboro. Lucille was born in Vergennes, IL. August 10, 1907 a daughter to the late Ralph and Nettie G. (Casteel) Holliday. She married Russell Wayne Siefert July 19, 1930 in Bardwell, KY. Russell preceded her in death March 10, 1995. Lucille was a charter member of the Berean Christian Church in Murphysboro, and a member of the Eastern Star and White Shrine; she was also a homemaker and had worked as a retail shoe sales clerk in Murphysboro for 15 years, and was the number 1 Cardinals Baseball Fan, and has her personalized brick at the new Busch Stadium. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, May 15, 2006 at the Berean Christian Church in Murphysboro, the Rev. Mark Wingo of the Berean Christian Church will officiate, burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park near Murphysboro. Visitation will be Sunday, May 14, 2006 from 5 to 8 pm at Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro, and Monday at the church from 9 am until the hour of services. Survivors include one daughter; Jane Harris of Murphysboro, one son and daughter in law; Don and Nancy Siefert of Murphysboro, two sisters in laws; Agnes Siefert of Murphysboro, and Eileen Vaskie of McNabb, IL. four grandchildren; Renee' Rain of Houston, TX, Kirk (Peggy) Harris of Benton, IL. Mike (Pam) Siefert of Sebastian, FL. and Steve (Amy) Siefert of Johnston City, IL., ten great grandchildren; Trent Harris, Colby Siefert, Christopher Rain, Caty Beth Siefert, Macy Rain, Andrew Siefert, Benjamin Siefert, Greg Swinney, Heather (Michael) Franklin, and Sara (Justin) Holman, three great great grandchildren; Emma Franklin, Kaylee Franklin, and Dash Holman. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son in law; Bob Harris. Memorials may be made to the Berean Christian Church and will be accepted at the funeral home and church
