Frank Seyferth, 82
of Stoy, IL. died at 7:18 pm Saturday, January 6, 2007 in Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, IL. Frank was born in Murphysboro April 18, 1924 a son of the late Frank and Myrtle (Tyler) Seyferth. Frank married Mary Purcell in Murphysboro May 15, 1945, she survives of Stoy. Frank worked for Bradford Supply Co. as a Machinist and Salesman, the State of Illinois Dept. of Public Health in Edwardsville, IL. retiring in 1989. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and was a P.O.W. during WWII in Germany. He was member of the Elks Lodge #1188, and the National Rifle Association; he loved to polish stones and was an avid reader. In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by one son and daughter in law; Glenn & Marlene Seyferth of Markham, TX, one daughter; Pam Bunton of Stoy, grand children; Chad & Melissa Bunton of Robinson, Natalie Bunton of Stoy, Stony & Joni Seyferth of Bay City, TX. Libby & Chris Nobis of Jacksonville, IL. and five Great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother; Glen Seyferth. Private family graveside services and burial will be held in Oblong Cemetery in Oblong, IL.
