Elizabeth Elaine Rath 86, of Murphysboro
died at 2:10 pm Saturday, August 12, 2006 in Carbondale. She was born
in Trenton, TN December 17, 1919 a daughter of the late Emerson and
Elizabeth (Dowlen) Shivers. Elaine married Gerald Eugene Rath in Paducah,
KY. he preceded her in death May 3, 1999. She was a member of the Elm
Street Baptist Church in Murphysboro and a Homemaker. Funeral services
will be held 2 pm Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at Crawshaw Funeral Home in
Murphysboro; Pastor Charles Allen of Elm St. Baptist will officiate.
Burial will follow at Tower Grove Cemetery in Murphysboro. Visitation will
be from 12 noon until the hour of services Wednesday at Crawshaw Funeral
Home. Survivors include one son and daughter in law; Michael and Debbie
Rath of Carbondale, one grand daughter and her husband; Celeste Michelle
and Thomas Paulson of Peoria, IL., one grand son; Michael Caleb Rath of
Murphysboro, three great grand sons; Keegan Rodell, Coulton, and Cooper
Paulson, and two great grand daughters; Chloe Paulson and Cayleigh Rath.
In addition to her parents, and husband two infant daughters and one
brother preceded her in death
