Louise (Lockard) Rahming, 89, of Murphysboro,
died at 12:47 pm Monday, May 1, 2006 at home. Louise was born in Cobden, IL. November 5, 1916 a daughter of the late H. L. and Lettie (Gunn) Lockard. She married Heinie Rahming in Pinckneyville, IL. October 7, 1933, Heinie preceded her in death October 10, 2002. Louise was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Murphysboro where she was a faithful member of the Philathea Class and the Bertha Deal Abbot mission circle. Funeral services will be at 10 am Friday; May 5, 2006 at Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro Rev. Jeff Gordon and Pastor Richard Kinnamon of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Tower Grove Cemetery in Murphysboro. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm today and from 8 am until the hour of services Friday at Crawshaw Funeral Home. Survivors include two daughters and son in laws; Marsha and Bob Heiple of Gorham, and Linda and Hank Scherich of Durham, NC. two sons and daughters in laws; Don and Karen Rahming of Murphysboro and Ron and Kathy Rahming of St. Joseph, IL. eight grandchildren; Sherry Thies, Julie Heiple, Autumn Rahming, Renee Rahming, Kelsey Rahming, Nathan Scherich, Bryan Scherich, and Ryan Anthony Rahming, one great grandchild; Abbey Thies. In addition to her parents and husband, one brother, Leland Lockard and one grandson Ryan A. Rahming preceded her in death. Memorials are encouraged and may be made to the First Baptist Church or to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
