Geraldine Pleasant, 78 of Murphysboro died at 2:38pm
Tuesday, September 22,
2009 in Murphysboro. Geraldine was born June 16,
1933 in Murphysboro a daughter to the late Austin
and Violet Marie (Summers) Pleasant. Geraldine
was a retired school teacher, she taught 4th
grade in the Dupo Illinois School system.
Graveside services will be at 11am on Saturday,
September 26, 2009 at Pleasant Grove Memorial
Park near Murphysboro. There will be no
visitation, family and friends are asked to meet
at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Survivors include one uncle and his wife; Earl
and Gerry Summers of Murphysboro, seven cousins;
Ron (Janet) Hunter, Carol (Del) Smith, Jim
Summers, David Summers, Marilyn Summers, Mitzi
Summers, and Peggy Chamness. |
