Beulah M. Pieron, 87 of Murphysboro died at
10:00pm December 25, 2009 in Murphysboro. Beulah was born February 19,
1922 in Campbell Hill, IL., a daughter to the late Virgil and Anna (Valentin)
Downen. She married Jack Pieron on July 20, 1941 in Murphysboro, Jack
Preceded her in death on September 21, 1993. Beulah was a member of the
First Baptist Church in Murphysboro and was retired from the Jackson
County Health Department after over 30 years of service. Funeral services
will be at 11am Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Crawshaw Funeral Home in
Murphysboro, Rev. John Nordstrom will officiate. Burial will be at
Pleasant Grove Memorial Park near Murphysboro. Visitation will be from 5
to 8pm on Monday at Crawshaw Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the
First Baptist Church or the Rehab & Care Center Activity Fund and will be
accepted at the funeral home. Survivors include one son and
daughter-in-law; Jack W. and Marsha Pieron of Murphysboro, one brother;
Dale Downen of House Springs, MO., one sister Lois Allen of Texas., one
great-granddaughter; Casey Pieron of Murphysboro, she is also survived by
several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was
preceded in death by one brother; Lyndal Downen, one sister; Verle, and
one grandson; Brad Pieron. |
