Betty E. Petrazio, 76 of Herrin formerly of
Murphysboro, died at 2:50 am Friday, October 19, 2007 in Herrin. Betty was
born in Lawrence County, IL. July 21, 1931 a daughter to the late George
Arthur and Melinda (Dixon) Dunlap. She married Randall McColpin March 26,
1951; he preceded her in death September 7, 1967. She married Dr. Joseph
Petrazio April 12, 1969 in Murphysboro; he preceded her in death on April
27, 1990. She was a former member of the St. Joseph Memorial Hospital
Auxiliary and the American Medical Association. She was a Licensed
Practical Nurse and had worked with her Husband Dr. Petrazio in his
practice in Murphysboro. Graveside services will be at 1 pm Sunday,
October 21, 2007 at the New Robinson Cemetery in Robinson, IL. There will
be no visitation. Survivors include one daughter; Cynthia A Hagler of
Carterville, one grandson; Michael P. Berry Jr. of Carterville, IL., one
brother; Donald Dunlap of IL., four sisters; Donna Richardson of TN.,
Helen Tuttle, Shirley Inboden and Carol Thompson all of IL., In addition
to her parents and both husbands she was preceded in death by one son in
law; Denny Hagler, three sisters and one brother. Crawshaw Funeral Home in
Murphysboro is in charge of arrangements. |
