Lieutenant, David Mike Mileur
 63 yrs, retired member of the Illinois State Police went home to be with the Lord on Saturday May 21st 2005 at his home in Venice, Florida. Mike was an Illinois State Police Officer for 24 years. He retired as a Lieutenant after serving in District 13 and Dist 22 in Ullin, Illinois. He was born in Murphysboro, Illinois on January 12, 1942 the son of the late Tony Mileur and Fay Crisler Mileur. He married Judith Pugh in Murphysboro, Illinois on October 28, 1961. Mr. Mileur was a graduate of Murphysboro Township High School. He lived in the Murphysboro area for many years moved to Metropolis, Illinois in 1989 where he and his wife owned and operated a Craft Store "Wood-N-Things". He later retired and he and his wife moved to their winter home in Venice, Florida. Mr. Mileur was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Illinois Police Association. He was of the Christian Faith. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 2001 and attended Church regularly and always enjoyed a good sermon. Survivors include; His Wife, Judith Mileur of Venice, Fl. Two Sons and their spouses. Dan and Linda Mileur of Murphysboro. Matt and Angel Mileur of Slidell, La. Two Daughters and their spouses; Laura & John Miller of Dongola, Ill. Susan and Will Johnson of North Port, Florida. Grand Sons; Adam Mileur of Murphysboro, IL, Christopher Mileur of Jeffersonville, In. Brandon Mezo of Dongola, Il. Micah Mileur of Murphysboro. Grand Son; Robby Hunt of Flora, Il. Grand Daughter; Jazzolin Hunt of Flora, Il. Grand Son; Dalton Miller of Dongola, Il. Grand Sons: Jeremy, Jacob and Jalen Johnson of North Port, Fl. Grand Daughters; Leslie Herring of Dongola, Ill, Amber Mileur of Jeffersonville, In. Marie Mileur of Murphysboro, Il. Dakota Miller of Dongola, Il. Jasmine Johnson of North Port, Fl. Dahni Adams of Dongola, Ill and Great Grand Daughter, Kylie Twigg of Indiana. Uncle; Marvin Crisler of Mattoon, Ill. Aunt; Jean Crisler of Pekin, Il. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday morning at the Murdale Baptist Church in Carbondale, Illinois with Rev. Paul Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Murdale Gardens of Memory Murphysboro. Full Illinois State Police Funeral Honors will be accorded to Lieutenant Mileur during the Visitation and at the Funeral and Burial Services. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 9:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro and from 9:00 A.M. Thursday until the hour of services Thursday morning at the Murdale Baptist Church in Carbondale. Illinois.
