Margie L. Mileur, 73 of Murphysboro, died at 12:40 am, Friday, February 13, 2009 in Murphysboro. Margie was born in DuQuoin, IL. May 10, 1935 a daughter to the late Charles and Myrtle (Beard) Siefert. She married Charles A. Mileur in DuQuoin, IL. June 5, 1955, Charles preceded her in death May 24, 2007. Margie attended the Elm Street Baptist Church in Murphysboro, she and her husband Charles had been co-owners of Kilby's BBQ Restaurant in Murphysboro for many years she also worked at Kilby's for many years. She loved her children and grandchildren very much and enjoyed raising not only her children but having an active role in her grandchildren's lives, as well as her children's friend's lives. She enjoyed spending time in her yard and had an especially close bond with her sisters and brothers and their spouses that continued through her entire life. Funeral services will be at 11 am Monday, February 16, 2009 at Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro, Pastor Charles Allen of the Elm Street Baptist Church will officiate, burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park near Murphysboro. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law; Gail and Brian Crowell of Murphysboro, three sons; Ron Mileur of Murphysboro, Gary Mileur of Mascoutah, Il., and Michael Mileur of Murphysboro, six Grandchildren; Daniel Mileur, Molly Mileur, Blake Crowell, Cody Mileur, Megan Mileur, and William Mileur, four sisters and one brother-in-law; Audrey Webb , Ilene Tregoning and Janet Nevill all of DuQuoin, and Betty and Nick Dolce of Willisville, IL., three brothers and sister-in-laws; Glen and Marilyn Siefert of Cuba, IL., Donald and Betty Siefert and Herschel and Ilene Siefert of DuQuoin. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister, one niece and two nephews. Memorials may be made to the Elm Street Baptist Church or to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
