Carl D. Limbert, 71, of Murphysboro,
 died at 12:06 pm, Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Marion. Carl was born in Murphysboro November 5, 1934 a son of the late William Benjamin and Elizabeth (Parrott) Limbert. He married Evelyn Marie Ford in Herrin, IL. August 3, 1963, she preceded him in death on August 8, 1998. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Murphysboro, he was a retired technician for the Olin and Primex companies for over 25 years and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Funeral services will be at 11 am Friday, September 29, 2006 at Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro, Rev. Bob McCrory will officiate, burial with military rites by American Legion Post 127, V.F.W. Post 7190 both of Murphysboro, V.F.W. Post 2605 in Carbondale and the Jackson County Disabled Veterans Chapter 69, will follow at Tower Grove Cemetery in Murphysboro. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Crawshaw Funeral Home. Memorials are encouraged and may be made to the First Baptist Church in Murphysboro and will be accepted at the funeral home. Survivors include two daughters and one son in law; Carla Elizabeth Limbert of Grafton, Il. and Terri Ann and Greg Jacobs of Murphysboro, six grand daughters; Alicia, Virginia, Kellie, Kathryn, Candice, and Casie Jacobs, two great grand daughters; Alexis and Adrianna Jacobs. In addition to his parents and wife two brothers preceded him in death
