LeRoy D. Keehn Jr., 97, of Murphysboro died at 3:15pm
on Thursday, November 10, 2011 in Murphysboro. LeRoy was born in
Chicago, IL. on April 6, 1914 a son to the late LeRoy D. and Marjorie
(Kellogg) Keehn. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during W.W.II. He
was a retired owner of a shoe store in Chicago.
Memorial services and burial will be at a later date at Memorial Park
Cemetery in Skokie, IL. Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro is
assisting the family with arrangements.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law; Roy Keehn III and his
wife Lynne of Murphysboro, one sister and brother-in-law; Marjorie and
Elisha Prouty of Grafton, Vermont, six grandchildren and 12
great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents he was
preceded in death by his wife.
