Margaret Evans Haury, 90 of Ellisville, MO.,
formerly of Murphysboro died at 1:10 am Wednesday, January 2, 2008 in
Ellisville. Margaret was born November 3, 1917 in Murphysboro a daughter
to the late Emmett and Iola (Kearns) Roberts. Margaret was first married
to Charles M. Allen he preceded her in death September 16, 1946, she later
married William Haury, he also preceded her in death December 8, 2003. She
was a member of the United Methodist Church in Murphysboro and the St.
Joseph Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am
Saturday, January 5, 2007 at Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro, Rev.
Richard Lewis of the United Methodist Church will officiate, burial will
follow at Tower Grove Cemetery in Murphysboro. Visitation will be from
10:00 am until the hour of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials are encouraged and may be made to the United Methodist Church
and will be accepted at the funeral home or church. Survivors include one
daughter and son in law; Debbie and Gib Snyder of Wildwood, MO, three
grandsons; Chris Snyder, Kirk Snyder and Glenn Conley all of St. Louis,
MO., and one great grandson. In addition to her parents and husbands she
was also preceded by one daughter Mary Carol Allen Conley on October 12,
1981. |
