Janet "Sue" Grammer, 57 of Murphysboro,
died at 10:12 pm on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at St. Francis Medical
Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. Janet was born in Lorain, OH on June 11,
1948 the daughter of the late Charles Ray and Helen (Worthen) Butcher.
Janet was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Collinsville,
IL., she was employed as a Revenue Cycle Representative for Southern
Illinois Healthcare at the corporate offices in Carbondale. Funeral
services will be at 11 am on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at Crawshaw
Funeral Home in Murphysboro, with Rev. Philip Nordstrom officiating,
burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park in Murphysboro.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at
Crawshaw Funeral Home. Survivors include two daughters and son in laws;
Tammy and Dale Duncan of Maryville, IL., and Alisha and Chris Grissom of
Murphysboro, one half brother and spouse Dean and Carol Butcher of
Millstaedt, IL. two grand children; Alivia and Jude Grissom, two step
grand daughters; Samantha Grissom and Kristin LaBotte, her loving
companion Bob Rowden of Murphysboro and Bob's children Heather and Justin
Rowden. Memorials are encouraged and may be made to the American Lung
Association, and will be accepted at the funeral home.
