Joan Frazier 80 of Murphysboro, died at 12:55
am Thursday, October 23, 2008 in Murphysboro. Joan was born in Murphysboro
on March 1, 1928 to the late Howard and Gladys (Graff) Brown. Joan was a
retired social worker at Chester Mental Health. Memorial services will be
at 3:30 pm, Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Crawshaw Funeral Home in
Murphysboro, Rev. Larry Gilbert of the United Methodist Church in
Murphysboro will officiate. Joan's family will receive friends from 2 pm
until the hour of services Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials are
encouraged and may be made to TIP Hospice or to the donor's choice and
will be accepted at the funeral home. Joan is survived by two daughters;
Donna Glass and special friend Brian Thies of Chester, and Leigh "Tizzy"
Sullivan and special friend Ron Ray of New Caney TX. Five grandchildren;
Jennifer and spouse Doug Myers, Daniel Tejada, Heather Freytag, Matthew
Sullivan, and Joey Sullivan. Four great grandchildren; Marcus Oyer, Kai
Myers, Lily Tejada, and Kaden Freytag. In addition to her parents she was
preceded in death by a son Gordie Frazier on August 16, 1977 and one
sister Donna Mileur. |
