Othella Fingar, 93 of Murphysboro,
died at 11:20 am Wednesday, January 10, 2007 in Marion. Othella was born
in Murphysboro July 29, 1913, a daughter to the late Otho and Daisy
(Woodside) Silvey. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in
Murphysboro and was formerly co-owner of Murphysboro Abstract Co. Funeral
Services will be at 11am Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Crawshaw Funeral
Home in Murphysboro, Rev. Richard Kinnamon of the First Baptist Church in
Murphysboro will officiate, and burial will follow at Pleasant Grove
Memorial Park near Murphysboro. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 am on
Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials are encouraged and may be made to
the First Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
Survivors include two daughters and son in laws; Sylvia Hunziker Carvell
and her husband John of Murphysboro, and Marcia Westra and her husband
Pete of Pagosa Springs, CO., one granddaughter, Loraine Hunziker and her
husband Kevin Boucher of Murphysboro, two grandsons, Philip Hunziker and
his wife Tina, and Scott Hunziker and his wife Traci of Murphysboro, four
great grandchildren; Hannah and David Brooks, and Jonathan and Brittany
Hunziker also of Murphysboro. In addition to her parents, two sisters;
Ruth Silvey, and Helen Huff preceded her in death. |
