Andrew Lee Eggemeyer, 64 of Murphysboro, died
at 11:50 am Monday, April 27, 2009 in Murphysboro. Andrew was born in Red
Bud, IL., July 31, 1944 a son to Paul C. and Lucille (Kipp) Eggemeyer.
Andrew was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Murphysboro; he was a
U.S. Army Veteran, he was a member of the Murphysboro Kiwanis Club,
Murphysboro Main Street, and the American Institute of Architects', he
formerly coached the Murphysboro Zipp's for 20 years, and was an avid
Saluki Basketball, Baseball and Football fan, Andrew owned and operated
Eggemeyer Associates Architects, Inc. in Carbondale. He was married to
Toni Walton in Walsh, IL. August 28, 1965 Toni survives of Murphysboro.
Memorial services will be at 11 am Friday, May 1, 2009 at the First
Lutheran Church in Murphysboro, Rev. Timothy Bean will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Thursday, April 30, 3009 at Crawshaw
Funeral Home in Murphysboro. Memorials are encouraged and may be made to
the First Lutheran Church Building Fund and will be accepted at the
funeral home and church. Survivors include; his wife Toni of Murphysboro,
his mother; Lucille Eggemeyer of Chester, IL., one daughter and
son-in-law; Amy and Zach Niemann of Carbondale, one son and
daughter-in-law; Brian and Tammy Eggemeyer of Highland, IL., two
grandchildren; Abigail and Trevor Eggemeyer, two brothers and
sisters-in-law; Orville and Karen Eggemeyer of Barnhart, MO., and Stanley
and Barb Eggemeyer of Chester, IL., one sister; Geraldine Petrowske of
Arnold, MO., and many nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in
death by his father. |
