Daisy Mae Crabtree,
68 of rural Carbondale, died at 3:07 pm Friday, April 20, 2007 at
Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. Daisy was born August
22, 1938 in Benton, IL., a daughter to the late Ray James & Ethel (Feldy)
Shaw. She married Winford F. Crabtree August 11, 1953 in Alton, MO.,
Winford preceded her in death December 23, 2004. Daisy was a Baptist by
faith and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm
Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro, Rev.
Cliff Waller will officiate, burial will follow at Murdale Gardens of
Memory near Murphysboro. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on
Monday, April 23, 2007 at Crawshaw Funeral Home. Memorials are encouraged
and may be made to the American Diabetes Association and will be accepted
at the funeral home. Survivors include; one son and daughter in law;
Michael and Melba Crabtree of DuQuoin, IL., one daughter and son in law;
Ellie Mae and Brian Schreiber of Collinsville, IL., one sister; Wanda
Crabtree of Murphysboro, four grandchildren; Darron and Lea Crabtree,
Chris and Robin Crabtree, Denis Morgan Jr. and Penny Morgan, three great
grandchildren; Ethan and Lorran Crabtree and Angela Claus. In addition to
her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one granddaughter,
and seven brothers. |
