Charlotte Mary Mileur, 74, of Murphysboro
died at 10:10 am, Saturday, August 5, 2006. Charlotte was born in
Vergennes Township, Jackson County, Illinois on August 27, 1931 a daughter
of the late Elbert C. and Anna M. (Alstat) Ebersohl. She married Frank J.
Mileur Jr. June 6, 1953 in Ava, Illinois; Frank preceded her in death on
March 2, 2001. Charlotte was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, a
former member of Paul Stout Post 127 American Legion Auxiliary both in
Murphysboro, and a homemaker. Charlotte along with her husband Frank owned
and operated the former F. Mileur Orchard near Murphysboro through the
year 2000, they were both well known for their high quality fruits and
vegetables. Before her extended illness she was an avid bingo player. A
Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Tuesday, August 8, 2006, at St. Andrew
Catholic Church in Murphysboro, Father Gary Gummersheimer will officiate.
Burial will follow at Murdale Gardens of Memory near Murphysboro.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm on Monday, August 7, 2006, at Crawshaw
Funeral Home in Murphysboro. Memorials are encouraged and may be made to
St. Andrew Catholic Church or to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Survivors
include three daughters and two sons in laws; Mary Anna Rayfield and her
Fiancé Frank Gerken of Steamboat Springs, CO., Donna and Howard Crawshaw
of Murphysboro, and Deborah and James Ryan of Ava, IL. One brother and two
sister in laws; Milton "Dobie" and Fay Ebersohl of Vergennes, and Betty
Ebersohl of Murphysboro, three grand sons and one grand daughter; Zad and
Joash Rayfield of Steamboat Springs, CO., Alex Crawshaw of Murphysboro and
Cayley Ryan of Ava, one uncle; Purle Alstat of Murphysboro and many nieces
nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and husband one brother;
Elbert Ebersohl and one sister Shirley Havens preceded her in death
