Mildred A. Clover, 77 of Pomona Township,
died at 5:27 am Monday, May 7, 2007 at home. Mildred was born in Pomona Township, Jackson County, IL., August 29, 1929 a daughter to the late Elvis & Bell (Hoppe) Ellis. She married Glen Clover May 16, 1946 in Murphysboro; Glen preceded her in death April 25, 1995. Mildred was a homemaker and a member of the New Life Tabernacle Church in Murphysboro. Funeral services will be at 11 am Friday, May 11, 2007 at the New Life Tabernacle Church in Murphysboro, Rev.'s Larry Dean Worthen and Ronnie Clover will officiate, burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Jerusalem Cemetery near Pomona. Visitation will be Thursday May 10, 2007 from 5 to 8 pm at Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro, and from 9 am until the hour of services on Friday at the church. Survivors include three daughters; Bertha Chandler of Murphysboro, Shirley Gibson of Dongola, IL., Glenna Roth of Murphysboro, three sons; Rev. Gary Clover of Marion, IL., Justin Clover of Johnston City, and Leland Clover of Pomona, 30 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two daughters; Teresa Clover, and Linda Phelps, one Grand Daughter, three great grand children, three sisters and one brother. Memorials may be made to the new Life Tabernacle Church and will be accepted at the funeral home and church.
