Edith L. Clark 79 of Murphysboro died at 9:40am Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at home. Edith was born November 19, 1931 in Somerset Township, Jackson County, IL. a daughter to the late Henry and Anna Mae (Herman) Lichliter. She was united in marriage to Floyd Clark on August 4, 1952 in Hernando, Mississippi, Floyd survives of Murphysboro. Edith was a member of the United Methodist Church, and in addition to being a homemaker she had also worked as an operating room technician and a C.N.A. at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale for 21 years. She also enjoyed traveling with her family very much. Services will be at 11:30am on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro; Rev. Larry Gilbert of the United Methodist Church in Murphysboro will officiate. Burial will be at Murdale Gardens of Memory near Murphysboro. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, January 28, 2011 at Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Survivors include her husband; Floyd Clark of Murphysboro, three daughters and one son-in-law; Debbie and Wayne Rubach of Effingham, IL., Diana Clark of DeSoto, IL., and Denise Clark of Carbondale, five sons and three daughters-in-law; Henry Ray Clark, and Dan and Sally Clark all of Murphysboro, Floyd Dean and Sandy Clark of Robinson, IL., Russ and Elisabeth Clark of Carbondale, and Doug Clark of Murphysboro. Grandchildren include; Holly Dunderdale, Tyler and Lindsey Rubach, Brad Clark, Tricia and Michael Burns, Jessica and Vince Jones, Justin and Justine Clark, Jennifer Clark and her fiancée' Andrew Hargrave, one step-granddaughter; Felicia Sanchez, and 14 great-grandchildren.
