William A. Barton,
80 of Murphysboro died at 7:55 pm Friday, August 17, 2007 in Murphysboro.
William was born October 1, 1926 in Chester, IL. a son to the late Ernest
and Pearl Barton. He was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W.II and was a retired
Postal Clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. Burial was at 10 am Monday,
August 20, 2007 at Walker Hill Cemetery in Grand Tower. In addition to his
parents he was preceded in death by one sister Sarah K. Barton who passed
away December 22, 1979.
